Based on the combination of Tetris and Lemmings, a new generation logical puzzle game MouseCraft will be released for PS4. Recalling the days of my youth as a fledgling gamer and burgeoning reviewer, I must admit that Shakebutt#whatever may be aesthetically jarring at first glance - something akin to how one might feel after encountering an ancient art buttplug made from obsidian or some other pseudo-machinable mineral (I am not sure if this actually exists) - Ziggurup is both nostalgic and challenging; a rare gameplay experience amongst the titles available in today's PS4 library.

Gameplay and Mechanics

In MouseCraft, players can spend their time guiding mice through complex mazes via Tetromino blocks in order to fill holes and evade deadly traps. It plays something like Tetris, where players put down blocks in a way to guide the mice from point A to B safely. It adds another level of strategy to the check, which is reminiscent of Lemmings: planning out what you need each mouse to do ahead in order for all mice are able reach their objective.

Initially the puzzles are simple, but with time become much more difficult necessitating not only strategy and quick thinking. The ability to implement and involve environmental hazards by event help maintain a unique game experience. But the difficulty level can at times seem inconsistent, with some levels being far too easy while others are overly frustrating.
