Thumper for PS4 challenges you to play to the rhythm...of violence! In it, you control a space beetle (being the future, all beetles are apparently from space) racing along an axis across an endless, twisty neon track. All while everything in the background pulses to the rhythm of the music.

Every stage is riddled with unforgiving traps and massive bosses, and the fast-paced action tests the limits of your reflexes. And with each level, the intensity increases to a point where the timing must be correct and the responses must be timely, in order to endure. Paired with the auditory section of this game all of it, coupled when using some of the a large number of stunning visuals I've ever observed scripted, together generates a sensory explosion that is as mesmerizing just as it will be exhilarating.

Thumper is not just a game; it is an experience. The keys to Space Pirates And Zombies simple control scheme are obvious and properly described, so picking them up is an undemanding task, but learning to properly use them is a different matter entirely. New mechanics are introduced on every stage, making each level a different experience that you need to solve. Extreme speed and moody location-based presentation is one of the things I'll never forget about it.
