Play as Hat Kid, a young girl out on a mission to return home where she must cross paths with the nefarious Mafia of Cooks, who has disrupted her ship and distributed her Time Pieces all over a strange planet. Your objective is to collect them all back, in wonderfully crafted and highly detailed world full of life. Engaged stories, filled with humor that brings a lot of pleasure to your life.

Every environment, from the bustling Mafia Town to the creepy Subcon Forest is so vibrant and colorful, and such a joy to explore. All those different environments will go a long way to making each level (as much as I hate calling them that) feel fresh and new, not dissimilar to the multitude of vibrant worlds seen in Ratchet & Clank.

Experience smooth and nimble platforming mechanics. Hat Kid can double jump, walk on walls (for a short amount of time), and will even be able to glide with her trusty umbrella, making traversal easy and open. The controls are never the problem here, which makes every jump and move satisfying in a way that perhaps only "Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy" does better.

Modify your gameplay with various hats and badges. Hats give Hat Kid new abilities, like speed boosts or time manipulation and badgespower ups. This system extends the game, giving more depth and control to you allowing you to shape your abilities around your preferences, similar to customization in Celeste.

Enjoy heartfelt boss fights and innovative challenges Each boss fight is different, each requiring a mix of skill and judgment to achieve victory. It is also good that the game has different types of challenges, which makes it fun to play as it felt rewarding like the creative boss fights in Cuphead.

The game is in a cute art style and has an awesome song.REACT TO MUSIC Colourful and cartoony graphics offer plenty of character in the world and characters, while music rounds out the charm. Its overall presentation is polished and described with personality, sounding not unlike the charm found in Yooka-Laylee.
