Gameboys is an 8-bit handheld console from the fourth generation, published in April 1989 by Satoru Okada and Gunpei Yoko of Nintendo R&D1, recognized as Nintendo's very first video game development unit Game Boy is Nintendo's second handled video game console that has features from both the NES home system and Game and Watch hardware.

Nintendo Game Boy's primary model has a green dot-matrix screen that has an adjustable screen contrast, five buttons: directional pad, two-game control buttons, a start button, and a select button. The console also has an adjustable sound control and also utilizes a cartridge for its media.

Nintendo Gameboy runs in an 8-bit Sharp LR35902 CPU clocked at 4.19 MHz. For its RAM, Game Boy has an 8 KiB Internal SRAM that can be expanded by 32 KiB and has a video RAM of 8 KiB. The ROM of Game Boy is On-CPU-Die 256-byte bootstrap, storage capable from 32 KiB to 8 MiB cartridges. It has a two-pulse wave generator, one speaker, and two headphone ports. Gameboy's console has 16 x 144 pixels of Reflective STN LCD that displays a frame rate of approximately 59.7 frames per second.

Game Boy has four operational game buttons: A, B, Select and Start and a direction pad that serves as the Up, Down, Left, and Right cursor. You can adjust the screen contrast on the dial on the left side of the on volume on the right side. The on and off switch can be found at the top of the console. You can also find the cartridge slot there.

Game Boy also has a notable feature that enables you to connect to another Game Boy console via a connection cord when both players are playing an identical game; this port can be located at the right side of the device that can also be used to connect to a Game Boy Printer.
